Who Is James Dewane?
Hi there - thatād be me! Iāve been in the Electrical Industry for just over 28 years and like so many others during my career, I've experienced plenty of ups and downs.
Back in 2007, I had a thriving company with nine staff, three vans, a car and a shop front ā only to find myself on the brink of personal bankruptcy with no choice but to start again.Ā
I invested time in myself and went all-in on the domestic sector, which led to another successful but smaller company. Subsequently, I became the āgo-toā electrician in a small local area.
To be honest, my initial big company was all about ego, and I can see now why it went down. My second, yet smaller company was in fact a lot more profitable and surprisingly more enjoyable. The difference all came down to the way I ran them.
These days, Iām retired from the tools and spend my time teaching marketing and mentoring fellow tradespeople.
One of the key things that helped both my electrical business and 100ās of others across the UK is what I call the S.P.A.R.K.S Blueprintā¢.
It took years of development and trial and error, but the final product is a well-polished, tried and tested model to grow any electrical business into a thriving, fully booked powerhorse.
